Why we build
The things people care about most usually come with details worth keeping close: a hobby that fills a notebook, an application that matters to your family, a date you're looking forward to. Those details deserve good tools, and a good tool should feel helpful and welcome, like a friend who remembers things for you.
Every Sonoran Apps product starts with one of those moments. We pick something people genuinely care about, get to know it well, and build an app that helps with it reliably and with a little delight. Then we keep improving it, because the real measure of an app is how glad you are to still have it years from now.
The name
The Sonoran Desert stretches across southern Arizona and into California and Mexico. It's a demanding place, and it's also one of the most biologically diverse deserts in the world. Life there thrives by being purposeful: everything with a reason, and built to endure.
The saguaro is the best example. It grows a few inches in a good year, stores water for the dry season, and can stand for well over a century. That's the standard we hold our apps to: steady, purposeful, and there for you for a long time.
